A Teepee Can Be So Much More Than Just A Tent

There’s something about teepees that kids just love and if there is a one you will always find a kid inside the teepee.

It is insane how they could stay inside and do all sorts of activities like playing hide-and- seek, puzzles, playing with dinosaurs or dolls, reading or simply just taking a nap.

Most kids love to nap in a teepee rather than in their own beds. It may be a good idea to make a bed or cosy nap area inside the teepee from time to time and make nap time more fun?

Place a mattress and pillow in the teepee – feet sticking out. An inexpensive blow up mattress works very well. A teepee creates a cosy and less bright snooze cocoon. Your child may surprise you one day by going to nap alone simply because it is more fun.

Create special moments by making reading stories in a teepee. Just a 10 minute one on one time with your little ones is so important and a wonderful bonding experience. Add some fairy lights inside the teepee and you set the scene for reading stories with enchanted fairies, delightful dinosaurs and magical stars.

If your child usually sneaks to your bed in the middle of the night, a bed in the teepee might be encouraging to enjoy his bed more than yours.

A teepee can be so much more than just a tent.

It can be used in different places and for various games and activities during the entire childhood. It’s a place where imagination can run wild and play can be un interrupted.
